Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux (18-1, 12KOs) is one fight away from a WBC title shot. On Sunday, June 23, he will be colliding with Julio “Pollito” Ceja (32-,3 28KOs) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Ceja is the number one ranked boxer in the WBC rankings in the junior featherweight division. A win for Rigondeaux means a shot at greatness again, a shot becoming champion.
We all know by now that Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) and longtime trainer Abel Sanchez called it quits recently. Different stories have come out as to why the split occurred.
