This is one of the biggest fights of the year. It pits old versus young, legend versus champion, but it is lion versus lion.
On Saturday, June 15, Lineal Heavyweight champ Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (27-0-1, 19KOs) will take on Tom Schwartz (24-0, 16KOs) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. This will be Fury’s first fight on his new ESPN deal.
Last night we saw an action packed fight from start to finish. One fighter’s career was elevated and the other’s came to an end. Sergey ‘Samurai’ Lipinets (15-1, 11 KOs) vs Lamont ‘Havoc’ Peterson (35-5-1, 17 KOs) was a big opportunity for both guys.
On Saturday, we saw Manny Pacquaio (61-7-2, 39 KOs) take on Adrien Broner (33-4-1, 24 KOs) which was a huge event not only for boxing but for sports worldwide. We had a legend and all time great Manny Pacquaio who isn’t half of what he used to be but still respected because of his speed, power and experience. With him being 40 years of age and having fought multiple wars in his career, a lot of fans expected a good fight between him facing and the younger Adrien Broner, a former four-time world champion in four different weight classes.
Current WBA (Regular) Welterweight Champion Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) is set to take on Adrien “The Problem” Broner (33-3, 24 KOs) on Saturday, January 19th, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
